....I will be celebrating my fortieth birthday.

Norm is taking me out on Saturday.  To a movie and maybe dinner.

It gives me great "comfort" to find out......

That the candles on the cake will soon be enough to set off the smoke detector as well as make up for most of the cake.

This week they gave Matt Lauer an AARP membership for turning fifty.  I only got ten more years!

I was just looking at the rates for the local theater and realized I only got twenty more years to qualify for a senior citizens discount. 

I can't say a whole lot for gray hair because I have had gray hair since I was a teen......

Norm likes to tease me and tell me that he will now be married to an older woman..... while I have always been a year older than he, that's not what he means... he's means I will be an OLDer woman.... like the men who go after older woman.  It brings him some kind of pleasure to think that for some dumb reason.  I don't know why.  I don't like being to think I am OLD. Hmmm.

Anyway, I will be entering the dreaded "menopause" stage soon so you may want to keep Norm in your prayers for the next ten years.
